New Beginnings

A new year has begun and I feel compelled to create memories for my family.......like this overwhelming need that is gnawing at my gut. My family and close friends know that I have the worst memory known to man and I somehow think that I will remember such important milestones like what Connor's first words were or when Ashlyn started walking (thank goodness I jotted those down somewhere). So, what better way to document these memories than by blogging! Something I have wanted to do for a long time. This may also serve as journal of sorts for my children to read someday and for them to know what their mama was like when they were young.

I hope that our family and friends near and far enjoy this blog where I hope to document our life through words and photography. Bare with me as this is a work in progress.

Sibling love.......I love it!! Well, Ashlyn looks a little scared below......I think it was because she wanted to get in the snow already! Connor had so much fun sledding and making snow angels and Ashlyn loved to eat the snow......we kept telling them not to eat yellow snow :-) Below: Lake Arrowhead fun in the snow at Papa's house. Our first real family photo taken in December by our friend Jessica at SouthCoast Winery in Temecula. We found out later that night that Ashlyn had developed Croup...........no wonder she was so fussy....my poor baby girl.
