Ok, I know this is wayyyy late..........our Anniversary was December 28th, but if I am going to journal and document the happenings of our life I have to backtrack a little.
So, my babe and I have been married 8 years........somehow it doesn't seem that long.........but at the same time I feel like I have known him half my life.
A little stroll down memory lane...our hair stylist Rachel introduced us in passing at Maggie's house (Sean's cousin) as I had given Rachel a ride to pick up her son. Rachel then scheduled our hair appointments on the same night to give us an opportunity to talk. Rachel told me he was coming about 10 minutes before he got there, so what is a girl to do with wet hair.....I put some lipstick on of course! He was shy, sweet and cute....we chatted a little and had some See's candy as it was approaching Christmas time. Rachel had to coerce us a little into exchanging phone numbers...and the rest is history! We dated for 3 years, we were engaged on Sean's birthday and married just after 4 years from the time we met. We had a beautiful wedding.......and we danced to Steve Tyrell's version of "The Way You Look Tonight". A dance that we took lessons to learn............my babe did great!
Just a few of the things I love about Sean........his sweet smile, big broad shoulders that give the best hugs, the way he makes me feel......and he is the best father!
This year we celebrated with going to the movies (a rare outing these days) a little wine tasting and then dinner at South Coast Winery.
