Getaways

I love getaways. Whether it is a day or 7 days......I love the anticipation of going somewhere and the excitement of having a new adventure or going to a familiar place where the pace is slower. We started my birthday week by going to Lake Arrowhead to visit dad and Sue and get a little rest and relaxation. We had a quiet weekend, had delish food and wine, the boys went for a hike where Connor "christened" the woods with his first poop there.....I know.......TMI!

Shayna and I went for a walk/hike before breakfast just us........she loved it and so did I. The weather was very cool and crisp and it was so quiet! I even snapped a few pretty pics.

We went to the Village where it was sunny and beautiful with crisp fresh air! We fed the ducks....

...........and I had to visit the Coach Store.............where I got a cute purse and wallet.........oopps.......no picture.  So we got some R & R and even though it was a short.........it satisfied my need for a getaway! Thanks Dad and Sue!!
